The Monster Dash will be here again soon!
The Central Texas Area Rotary Clubs, supported by the City of Harker Heights, have joined together to raise funds
for youth oriented, local projects and international Rotary projects with our 2024 Monster Dash 5K walk/run and 5K
team competition. This year’s event will take place at 8:30 am, Saturday, October 19th at the Harker Heights
Community Park in Harker Heights, TX. There will be a kid’s fun run, the Little Monster Dash, and a kid’s costume
contest immediately following the main event. All proceeds from this event will be used by the Rotary Clubs for
local projects such as scholarships, vocational grants, youth character education programs (Early Act, First
Knight), school supplies for needy children and many others. A portion of the proceeds also go to help fund
Rotary International Projects such as eradicating Polio. This race is sanctioned by the CenTex Race Series.
