Each month Rotary International has a theme that aligns with our areas of service. The theme for the month of April is Environment. We want to protect our planet and its resources. We do this in our club through projects such as planting and maintaining a community garden at the Killeen Food Care Center downtown. Where local groups and families can help and also harvest fresh produce. We do it through clean up project around town in various other organizations and we also do it with beuatification projects such as our Rotary Peace poles. Currently we have several of these that we want to place around our local community and we are looking for volunteers who want to get involved.
