The Killeen Heights Satellite Club recently demonstrated the true spirit of Rotary through a hands-on service project benefiting soldiers at North Fort Hood.

Club members gathered to assemble 300 hygiene kits, each filled with essential personal care items that will support soldiers during their time in training. These kits help provide comfort, dignity, and a reminder that their service is appreciated both on and off the field.

North Fort Hood serves as a critical training site for many soldiers, and access to everyday necessities can make a significant difference in their daily routines. Recognizing this need, the Killeen Heights Satellite Club stepped up to ensure these service members are well-supported.

Projects like this reflect Rotary’s ongoing commitment to caring for communities and honoring those who serve. By coming together in service, the club not only met a practical need but also strengthened the connection between local Rotarians and the military community.

Through initiatives like this, Rotary continues to live out its motto—Service Above Self—in meaningful and impactful ways.
