Tarleton to become A&M

Academic Dean, Dr. Tracy Teaff, spoke to members of the Friday morning Rotary Club of Killeen Heights on Feb. 13.  Tarleton State University-Central Texas reached its goal of full time students enroute to attaining standalone status.  Teaff reported 1,129 FTSE to Rotarians.  The University had to achieve 1,000 FTSEs in one given semester.

Teaff also presented a Power Point demonstration outlining the University's mission and purpose statement.  "Where education is Central and learning is for life," Teaff revealed to the members.  Lifelong learning themes include excellence, compassion and service, she added.
