Our large and growing Club gives us the potential to have a significant impact on our community and the world. It also means we rely on committees within our Club to do our work effectively. Consider joining one of these committees. You can contact the committee chairs from the Club Executives & Directors page.

 

Membership Committee

Chair: Becky Isbell

The Membership Committee develops and implements a comprehensive plan to recruit and retain members. It considers all membership applications, confirms the character, business, social, and community standing of all persons proposed for membership, and reports its decisions on all applications to the Board.

 

Public Image Committee

Chair: Geri Schwartzman

The Public Image Committee develops and implements plans to inform the public about Rotary; builds close, personal media contacts and working relationships with members of the press, promotes the Club’s service projects and activities, and manages the Club website and social media platforms.

 

Club Administration Committee

Chair: Leah McGee

The Club Administration Committee develops recommendations for club members for presentation of individual awards, such as the Avenues of Service Citation and the District 5870 Roll of Fame, and prepares and submits all necessary paperwork in a timely manner. In coordination with the President and President-Elect, the committee plans and conducts the annual Club Installation ceremony and promotes fellowship among club members by organizing monthly social activities.

 

Service Projects Committee

Chair: Bob Crouch

The Service Projects Committee develops and implements educational, humanitarian, and vocational projects that address our community's needs, while considering vocational, community, and international service avenues when developing plans. The committee plans service projects that cover as many Areas of Focus as possible and provides a wide range of opportunities for our Rotarians. It considers Global Grant project opportunities in conjunction with the Club's Rotary Foundation Chair. The committee ensures that completed projects are entered into the Rotary Service Project Center on MyRotary.
 

Youth Service Committee

Chair: Misty James

The Youth Service Committee recognizes the positive changes made by youth and young adults through leadership development activities, community and international service projects, and exchange programs that enrich and foster world peace and cultural understanding. The committee supervises the Club’s participation in Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) and Youth Exchange. It administers the Club’s annual scholarship program.

 

Rotary Foundation Committee

Chair: Jim Bondi

The Rotary Foundation Committee develops and implements plans to support The Rotary Foundation through financial contributions and program participation.

 

Programs Committee

Chair: Laurie Wilson

The Programs Committee develops and coordinates the weekly meeting program/speaker plan and manages the speaker honorarium program.

 

Golf Tournament Committee

Chair: Manny Tamarez

The Golf Tournament Committee plans and conducts the annual golf tournament fundraiser.
