Club and Members Recognized At Foundation Dinner

Congratulations to members of the Killeen Heights Rotary Club. At the February 20, 2009 Rotary International District 5870 Foundation Dinner in Austin, the club was awarded two banners. The dinner featured a keynote address by Rotary International President Dong Kurn Lee.

Killeen Heights was recognized as the top club in the District for Per Capita giving to the Foundation at $578.44. The second banner was for the Club's 100 percent achievement in the Foundation's Every Rotarian, Every Year initiative for club year 2007-2008.

In addition, club members Rich (and Diana) Kaye received their Two Diamond Pin representing donations totaling $25,000. Janice Glosson received her Five Sapphire Pin for contributions representing $6,000 and Clyde Glosson recieved his Three Ruby Pin for donations totaling $9,000.

A special thank you goes to Mi-Ok Doranski, who served as interpreter for RI President Lee.
