Burrows speaks to Rotary Club of Killeen Heights
 

Bell County Judge Jon Burrows was the guest speaker at the April 24th meeting of the Rotary Club of Killeen Heights.

Burrows gave the group an overview of the population growth of Bell County.  In 1960, the population was at 94,000, Burrows explained.  In 2010, the population was expected to be 280,000 and today the population is already at 285,000, he added. 

Burrows also touched on the jail addition, the Bell County Expo Center improvements and the County Court Annex. 

According to Burrows, Forbes magazine in its' April 2009 edition ranked the Killeen Temple Fort Hood Area, 5th in the nation for jobs.
