Pirates & Political Candidate Attends Rotary

A Pirate and Sarah Palin, Vice Presidential Candidate aka our incoming Club President, Lisa Griffin, made an appearance at the weekly meeting of the Rotary Club of Killeen Heights.

With a "presidential" wave, Lisa worked the room and so did our favorite pirate, aka the son of member Richard McVay. Sean left his "hook" at several places in the room and it was last seen next to the coffee!

Maureen Adams, principal of West Ward Elementary School introduced the members of the robotics team. Adams and the group explained how math plays into robotics at the same time teaching the students calculations and measurements. The theme for 2008 is "Climate Changes".
