Thank You For Making Dreams Real

Dear Fellow Rotarians: Thank you for the privilege to have served as your club president for Rotary year 2008-2009. Together we accomplished some behind-the-scenes organizational realignment; membership adjustments and better served our community through our mission: "We focus our resources - time, talents and finances - to reduce the mortality rate of children by supporting water, literacy, health and hunger programs; impacting fewer projects/agencies but with greater support to enable real change in these areas of need." We extended our reach into the International community with support of two Rotary projects in Mexico and once again we've set the standard by which others are measured in our giving to the Rotary Foundation. I believe we accomplished our goals to help Make Dreams Real in the lives of others. Next year's theme, The Future of Rotary is in Your Hands, challenges each member to become a Rotarian. A hearty thank you is extended to my Officers and Directors and to the Committee Chairs. Your willingness to work within our budget and mindfulness of our Mission kept us on task. It's been an honor.
