This afternoon, members of the Killeen Heights Rotary Club rolled up their sleeves and took part in a community beautification effort at Long Branch Park. The club proudly planted a Shumard oak tree in support of the City of Killeen’s ongoing park improvement project.
Their contribution joins several other trees planted by Killeen Parks and Recreation, all coming together just in time to celebrate Texas Arbor Day. This collaborative effort not only enhances the park’s natural beauty but also reflects Rotary’s commitment to environmental stewardship and service to the local community.
