Members of the Killeen Heights Rotary Club are rolling up their sleeves and digging into service—literally. Each month, on the second Wednesday, Rotarians gather at the Killeen Food Care Center to tend the community garden, helping prepare it for the upcoming spring planting season.
This hands-on project plays an important role in supporting the Food Care Center’s mission of providing nourishment to individuals and families in need. By maintaining the garden beds, clearing debris, and preparing the soil, Rotary members help ensure a successful growing season that will produce fresh, healthy food for the community.
